Juan Manuel Pont Ledesma places great artistic and aesthetic demands on his own work. As graduate of the Academy of Art in Buenos Aires, and later as technical make-up artist of the Colón Theatre in his home town, he developed his own “Face Art Technique”. The make-up creations of Ledesma – who is also a professional photographer – have graced the pages of glossy magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Les Nouvelles Esthetiques in Argentina, Paris, and Milan. He also contributes to these publications as columnist. In 2002, Juan Manuel Pont Ledesma designed the Kryolan Calendar, which appears annually in a
limited edition.
In addition to work in his own make-up studio in Buenos Area, Ledesma is active as a free-lancer for international make-up brands at promotional events. In addition, he has created make-up looks for fashion designers, for theatre productions, and for advertising spots. Argentinean and international TV shows also depend on his make-up artistry. |
